< 3. Important Notes >

- This driver does not support output any bitmap data. It is impossible to output texts or border lines etc. from such applications that output bitmap data, for example word processing softwares. We recommend to use drawing softwares.

- When you will use internal stroke font of Plotter, please select "Roland Plotter" in "Fonts" menu. It appears only when this driver has been selected in "Printers" menu. Some application softwares, however, cannot list "Roland Plotter" in the "Fonts" menu.

- To plot the outline of a TrueType font, at the font-selection area of the program, specify a TrueType font, and clear the selection for [Substitute plotter fonts for TrueType fonts] for the driver.
Note that some text styles, such as bold, are not supported.

Also, depending on the program, it may not be possible to plot text. In such cases, use one of the following remedies to correct the problem.

	- Select [Substitute plotter fonts for TrueType fonts] to substitute with internal fonts in the plotter.
	- Specify a "Roland Plotter" font.
	- Use the program to perform outlining of the text to convert the text to line data.
